Once again the entry point to Nepal is Kathmandhu. I spent a few extra days there before joining an organized trek to the Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri, and then on to Gorak Shep, Kalar Patar and Everest Base Camp. This time the trek was based on accomodation in Lodges, there are so many that there's no need to camp is this area of Nepal.

My first visit to Nepal was a flight to Kathmandhu, a few days spent there, and then an organized trekking tour in the Annapurna region of Nepal. On this occasion this was a camping tour, using tents except for in Kathmandu.
